Guess St Joes decided that our crappy shooting would continue forever and is willing to give looks from deep. Finally taking advantage. This is the team we thought we’d get this year.

27-10 with 7 to go raining threes and the big guy sits for most of the half with two fouls.

Bunch of fouls on the good guys so far. All earned. Biggest issue so far. Also, guys slowing down and movement not as good as it was.

I have watched a little and sure we have made some 3's so it can move the score quickly. I see this. St. Joe's is awful they are slow and not athletic. And they take awful shots.

As far as our offense, I don;t see a lot different. Besides making shots, I see the exact same sets. What I look for is not really are the shots going in, but what kind of shots are we taking and how are we getting them? I still would like to see much more player movement in the half court. And the one time I say Joe's go zone, we made one pass and Locke jacked a 30 footer which he missed. he could have gotten that same shot at the end of the shot clock. I would zone UF every possession and have said that for 4 years. Hopefully next game will be a more equally talented opponent.

Florida is up 31-15 at the under 4 timeout. 2 baskets in 8+ minutes. Got 2 in a row on layups by Nembhard and Keyontae

I agree that a lot of the improvement we see is tied to us making a few shots and St Joes shooting like we have before today

We’ve had a lot of wide open shots in our losses, just didn’t make them. We are today. So while I agree we aren’t seeing massive differences, it supports the idea that coaching wasn’t the only issue - our guys have to make easy shots too. That said, standing around is less frequent today, which is an improvement. Haven’t seen 4 guys hanging out by the 3 pt line waiting for another guy who’s dribbling to create their own shot. Lots of smart penetration and dishing.
