Feels like this is the year Debose finally puts it together.

I hear Mac likes him for the long term as his go to guy.

That's what I thought. I didn't feel like wading through the Lake Superior-sized pool of crap in the WR coach thread to find out if this was the case.

I think the WR coach has more to do with winning back the state in recruiting. Scum and Scumette (f$u) have been robbing most of the top talents. Coach Mac will get the talent he needs to get the offense rolling.
We're going to win back the state by hiring FIU's RB coach who is from Montana?

Thompson will end up being our best WR.

Has he topped the 150# mark yet ? Listen everyone likes a feel good story about a 2 or 3 star that occasionally gets on the field but good lord if he's our best WR next year then we're going straight back to 4-8......

Not sure we can really base anything off of the last 3-4 years. Its obvious that the last staff were unable to develop any offensive talent. I have a feeling we will be much improved this year even with the same talent level. Could be wrong but I doubt it.

Yep about the only one to break out was Robinson but he had some catching issues. If we can get a true 2nd threat to him that will really help the offense a lot especially if that TE can stay healthy.

How about an experienced 6th yr TE like say, McGee?

Word is, only thing on the resume that really sold JMac on him was that the hire would piss off law. Seems like a home run hire.

We could be half way decent with a lot of talented guys on the roster as long as they don't sh!t themselves when they actually get a pass thrown their way after being here for 2 or 3 years:panic:. I forgot who it was last year that was so surprised when they actually got a pass thrown to them when they were wide open that they tripped over their own feet when they could have walked into the end zone.....Robinson LSU game maybe?

Dunbar made a couple of long catches where he just didn't have the balance to stay on his feet - maybe that's who you were thinking of (looked kind of like a clutz). Sorry 't' - I missed your 'Quinton Dunbar' reply earlier.

Feel like we could see a rebirth of the WR much like 1990 when all of the sudden Ernie Mills was a thing, as was Harrison Houston, Tre Everett, et al. So I believe that all these guys that are on the roster could be good if Coach MC can bring a passing offense back to Florida.

Yeah, except we hired an OC who believes in run, run, run and run. And who says he is calling the plays.

I don't know where you people come up with this stuff. It's totally divorced from reality. The is zero chance these guys suddenly start throwing the ball around like Spurrier. They consider 200 yards a good passing game. Hell, I'm surprised Driskel left. He fits in perfectly.

If he gives us Bama's W-L record I won't care what plays he calls.

Clearly you missed episode 46 "The Gamesters of Triskelion" where Spock can't wait to get to the punch line of his "A priest, a Rabbi, and a Hooker walk into a bar" joke:

Or episode 64, "The Tholian Web" where Spock takes this hilarious selfie:

Or episode 74, "Intergalacaracial Facial" where Spock pranks Uhura and Jim into thinking they are secret admirers and Jim gets jungle fever:

Had high hopes for Bailey when he signed. Think he was another Armwood kid, but I've yet to see him take the field in any capacity. Yet alone line up at WR. We seem to have a really good
one in Robinson, and another pretty talented kid in Fulwood. Outside of that there isn't much to work with. Powell can probably help us with bubbles and some short passing game plays. Hooks, drags etc...

Yep. The sad part is that he's probably better than Pittman in the slot but the old regime liked Pittman's physicality for blocking purposes. All in all this is one group who will probably look much better because of the coaching change.
