He was right at the cusp of 3/4 star rankings according to 247 so it is hardly surprising he "lost" a star. It also shows you that stars are not the end all some think they are.

This is just a kid whos balled out against the best WRs in the country at all of these camps. The sites acknowledge it and constantly say how he was the best performer/one of the best. And then consistently drop him. Its one of the most head scratching rankings ive ever seen
