Can you guarantee Black is the one who delivered Diabate? I’m sure he’s helping, but we don’t know to what extent.
Diabate said:"Not many knew, but Florida has been on top for me since the first time I visited in March," said Diabate. "Other schools have been trying to catch up with them, but none did. Since I was there in March, in my mind, Florida was in the lead."
We've got to be on probation . This is the dumbest shyt I've read all week. This is what happens when you let academic people run the football team.New recruiting practice since spring game:
"I have also confirmed that Florida will no longer use students dedicated strictly to football recruiting to act as 'guides' on official and unofficial visit weekends.
It used to be that the mostly young ladies, sprinkled in with a few males, were called Gator Gettors. They helped host prospects while on campus visits. Then, quite a few years ago there was an issue with Tennessee's version of the Gettors, and some changes were made. What was once known as the Gettors became the more PC Gator Guides.
Back then, even if you couldn't identify a prospect, if you saw a two Gator Gettors/Guides with one kid, you knew he was a high priority. I don't know how to say this without being out of bounds, but the hotter (sorry) the Gettor/Guide, the more high profile you can bet the visitor was. I'm not saying that to be sexist, that was the reality of the situation.
Now I have been told that the spring game was the last time they will be used. When needed the football program will have the University Gator Ambassadors - those who show all students around - help with the visitors rather than having a dedicated group just for football."
The Inside Scoop: Recruiting office vacancy | Inside the Gators
What a great idea! I'm sure Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee and literally every other P5 team has stopped this as well. Glad we are leading the charge in ensuring basic biology places no factor in where a 18 year-old decides to spend his college career.

Hey, read post #5971, dipshyt.....you are fake newsYeah if he read what Diabate actually said,
GatorsTerritory.com - Behind the Scenes: Diabate's headed for The Swamp
Perhaps he would not have been giving Black so much of the credit.
Yep he was/is. The one that was misused for 4 years. Watch Dre Massey do the same thing next year. The Brandon Powell that just returned the punt 80 yds (and has caught several passes) is the Gator, right?
Imo, that play turned the game around. The interesting thing to me was him out running the NFL players. Didn't think he was supposed to be that fast, straight ahead.Yep he was/is. The one that was misused for 4 years. Watch Dre Massey do the same thing next year.

Gator Gettor tryouts before they decided to close down the program. They must be protected from their desire to jump an athlete because "progress."
They were essentially uncoached. And the last staff put almost no time practicing STs.I wonder if it was more about pathetic nord ST organization (blocking assignments) than Powell’s KR abilities that caused the poor results?
I would like to believe DM’s emphasis on ST will give Massey way more opportunities for success than Powell got.
In fact, for all the bashing Powell got from this board (myself included), I wonder if it was more about pathetic nord ST organization (blocking assignments) than Powell’s KR abilities that caused the poor results? Or did he just get lucky on that 80 yd PR TD?
Yeah, he did not put a lot of emphasis on recruiting either preferring the golf course to calling recruits. They were essentially uncoached. And the last staff put almost no time practicing STs.
The results speak for themselves.
Butters could use his brilliant dink and dunk offense to win even w his dog. STs were of no importance w that kind of genius on offense.
SOS put near zero emphasis on STs either. But it didnt matter.
Yeah, he loved calling the games. He didn't much like anything else.Yeah, he did not put a lot of emphasis on recruiting either preferring the golf course to calling recruits.
Well to his defense, his SCE offense looked nothing like his Florida offense. He actually ran it a lot more and not just in the second half like he used to do at Florida. Towards the end of his Florida run, people were defending his offense with 5 and 6 defensive backs daring him to run and blitzing his QB.Yeah, he loved calling the games. He didn't much like anything else.
I would have been drastically opposed to hiring him to be HC now. Hell, even as OC he hasn't modified his offense to account for newer defenses. He wasn't even calling his own plays after the first few years at South Cock, and the results were evident.
Hey moron, you said I didn’t read Diabate’s comments. My post that I referenced clearly shows that I did. So you are fake news. You are CNN, you are full of shytOk tough guy, what is fake news about my post?

Can you read? Comprehend? When did I say that Black was the reason Diabate came here? I was asked about Diabate and I gave the answer in the post I referenced. So show me where I said that Black was the cause of us Diabate?Boy you are a tough guy, aren't you. Why then are you trying to credit Black for something you knew he had less to do with than your asserted. Some people might view that as "fake news," but then there is a lot of projection that goes on around here. So I guess you are in good company.
