Any news on assistants? I know Knox is safe but at some point someone has to convince Mullen to upgrade.

Yeah, none of it is overly positive....but I think we land 5 more solid players (hopefully at least 3 of those 5 are 4-stars).

Larry Scott interviewed for the USF job. I imagine he'd take at least one coach w/ him if he gets it...but he doesn't seem like a top candidate (just my opinion).

WR - at least 1, primary target is Henderson but have competition w/ Alabama & Clemson. Heath is a possibility still (JUCO committed to Miss State).

RB - at least 1, Marks & Gibbs are primary targets. Marks OV'd to Miss State this weekend and one of their sites says he's saying he may not take his OV to UF now and is "100%" to MSU. Who knows? Gibbs may not sign until Feb. There's a few Plan Z's (Parrish, White).

Safety - hoping for Williams, nothing firm yet on a visit. His HS coach made some positive comments (speculating he may visit). Britt may wait to sign - which doesn't make sense.

TE - Beckwith is still leaning UF, but he wants to wait to sign also.

DT - Just landed Lee; Smith & Pinder remain targets, w/ Smith the prize. No telling what he does, but the Alabama site doesn't seem as cocky as they did earlier in the process. I personally love Pinder and think he'd be a great NT. Heavy DL is more of a priority in this class. So they may take all 3 if they do get Smith. Pinder is still committed to UNC and OV'd there this weekend. Saban is supposed to visit Smith at his home this week.

Thanks for this info. Getting Henderson, Gibbs, Williams, Beckwith, and Smith would make this a great class. I'm not holding my breath though, I suspect at best we close on 2-3.
