We just hired an off the field coach to help with recruiting and HS coach relationships, Jamar Chaney who played for Dan at Miss State and was the head coach of St. Lucie Centennial HS:

Good find Leo. Looks like a great hire; a Florida product, coaching at a Florida HS, played under Mullen - and has a relationship w/ 6 of the other coaches, played 5 years in the NFL (very recently), turned around a mediocre HS program, is young, etc, etc. Sounds like he'll be a great asset. I'm curious if this is an addition to the staff or if he's replacing someone else. I want to see this off-field staff beefed up.

There's also a rumor that we are hiring either a former coach or a former player that us older Gators might recognize for an off the field analyst position.

We are so far behind on this.

We do need more recruiting analysts that actually look at film and not just the highlights but full game film, that look at every play a player is involved in.

I'm used to player personnel being all that other stuff, keeping them in school etc. I guess not.

When Terry Jackson was DPP, it was mostly things like that.
