That would be a grand slam hire. I'm not sure what the plan is, but it appears getting rid of Cantor has been in the works.

He isn’t a recruiter. Does not recruit at all actually. He evaluates, goes to camps, sets up recruiting visits on and off premise. Sets up the big recruiting weekends. He helps create the recruiting board, works with the head coach and recruiting coordinator and so on and so on

The coaches can’t do a ton of evaluating, hence the need for guys like this to do it for them. The lack of a deep board and a late scramble to get key pieces could be a reason why we are seeing a change.

Believe so. The Director organizes every aspect of it, but most importantly player evals, and watching a ton of film or in person scouting. Then relays that to his assistants and the coaches. Not sure what the assistants really do though

Wow, talk about losing a great job because you're an *******. This can't be a very difficult job....and in fact, if you enjoy football, it's probably a very enjoyable job/career.

The interesting thing here is if a school hires a HS coach the school can't recruit that high school for two years.
