If he was an actual genius he would have said hey this passing stuff works and it’s fun. Maybe I should recruit more passing QB.
I always fall for that. I fell for it in 2006 after the championship game when he switched the offense. I fell for it a tad in 2020.

it seems SO FUCHSING OBVIOUS that you think he'd figure it out. We were quick strike capable and it felt like we just needed to fire Grantham, Robinson, and English and add a defense.

Ben said he looks at the stats sheet and feel sick at his stomach because there's no running yards there. it aches that is Notre Dame DNA to not see the option and mostly running yards.

He is never going to change.

the sad thing is he can call a passing offense obviously. Many OCs don't have that talent to be elitish at calling a passing game.

But he just cant change. The offense MUST be QB keepers.

Even guys like Law, who hated the Mullen hire, were really happy when we landed EJ and seemed to finish that initial ENSD in good shape. Then came the removal of our best recruiter and a fat guy from Msu that no one wanted..
Yeah, it was a good transition class. I think it's our best transition class ever. I tried to ride the train.

Jujuan Seider did big work. So we pushed him out the door to make room for Knox. I think at the time I said this may well kill his career. Especially after signing day year 2, #SecretCommits, I was sure he couldnt recover.

This class will be the same. Butters in 2018 and Mullenz now are just weighing the class down with their personal repulsiveness.

Yep. Another reason I've said no one can just sputter their way through 8-4/9-3 here. Recruiting is a zero-sum game. If we aren't landing elite talent, then chances are uga, Ala, Lsu, fsu, ut or miami are, and sooner or later it'll bite us.

I thought 2019 was maybe the worst Gator recruiting class since like the 70s. The 80-10s Gators always had lot of NFL talent all over the roster, even if it wasn’t always balanced. This class will make that class look like an Urban Meyer class.

The transitional 2018 class was horrific as well. Half the class left. 9 out of 20.

6 left before fall camp, 3 more after the 2018 season. In all honesty, if you graded the classes as what actually made fall camp instead of what signed in Feb, that might be the worst.

This. I remember getting an alert on a Sunday morning in January that read “Gators Get a LB Commit”. What they didn’t tell me was that it was Rayshad Jackson and that he’d picked us over community college and a part time job at Pet Smart.

Throw in guaranteed known no-quals like McGriff and it’s about as bad as it gets.

Don't completely botch the hire(s) and the fan negativity will subside. Even guys like Law, who hated the Mullen hire, were really happy

Law runs too much off the spread = spread gloom & doom. UF's coaching & smartness ain't there to stop the spread.
"Just wait 'til next year." Hey, we got nothing to till = a downpour of Mullen's drought.

I'd like to know on what planet we're a 'few plays away from being undefeated'.
****ing idiots

Easy! If we stop the 30 + counters against LSU, not get our FG blocked and returned for a TD against KY, don’t miss an extra point and a 2 point conversion against Bama we’re undefeated…

You don’t like running the same offense that we ran 15 years ago?

Mullen will NEVER recruit a passing QB.

Well... the 30 counters WERE just one play. Good point.

Back down to #23 nationally on Rivals right between West Virginia and Iowa State. Tied for 19th in avg star ranking with Indiana and UCLA. Not sure why anyone is surprised we can't beat Kentucky on a regular basis anymore.
