Halter has been hacking it today in the field and not much of a threat at the plate. Great work in middle relief by Chris Arroyo, that was a surprise entry. Abner was stellar again and deserved better than Halter's bad throw. Let's see if Neely is the real deal as a closer. Sloppy in the field but key plays and big flys when required.

Some real egregious errors on routine infield plays. We keep getting away with them but it's gonna cost us at some point. Defense needs to get it's act together.

Sweep the defending NC at their yard. Still some wart to burn off but the reality is this team has tons of tools to go a long way. Enjoy the ride Gators

Ole Piss only had 3 hits all day yet it seemed they had runners in scoring position every inning. We got to stop that schitt.
The BBs are making it interesting. We fix that and this team is gonna be really really tough to handle.

They certainly kept Ole Piss in the game today. I wonder if Cags having to play two in the field Saturday might have fatigued his legs a little. He just did not have his normal command today. He usually pounds the zone consistently, not today. He is tough as nails as he worked out of his self induced jams, that was impressive in a weird way.

Kudos to the guys in the bullpen for coming in and throwing strikes. Overall a good 3 days for the bullpen. The other day some were lamenting that we can't find a 1B yearly and we mentioned playing Heyman, moving BT to 1B and letting CAGS DH. Well today that lineup was in there and Heyman was huge. the one downside is Heyman is a little lax behind the plate defensively and BT is a little better defensively (not throwing runners out tho). But I am not opposed to it more.

The reason I harp on the walks is Ole Piss walked few to none early and we were banging solo HR's, yet Ole Piss remained in the game. Walking guys like our starters did this weekend will haunt us going forward when we play teams that have better pitching than Ole Piss currently has. But the bullpen manned up this weekend by throwing strikes.

right about Heyman and the bullpen but BT can't pick a low throw to first base to save his life.

It seemed like after they scored the runs they forgot how to play defense.
