I know neither bullpen guy threw a lot of pitches, but I have to think the plan was not to use 2 of the 4 bullpen guys that the team somewhat trusts. I think the hopes were to have a comfy, large lead so as to not use those 4 guys but alas, our hitting approach was total dog penus.

Agree. Have to be happy with getting 6 shutout from Cags, although adventurous.
I would have saved Neely but they are both available tomorrow with the limited pitch count today. Tomorrow needs to be all hands on deck.

We were late to the game and my grandson caught Rivera's homerun on the one hop outside the stadium.

The SEC went 9-1 Friday. Auburn was the only casualty losing to Penn 6-3.

In my office is a former Null baseball player, and we were talking the other day about the tourney and I could tell it killed him to admit how dominant the SEC is in the sport. He’s actually a really great guy and very good at his job, so I went easy on him.The SEC went 9-1 Friday. Auburn was the only casualty losing to Penn 6-3.
