Back to back HR's for St. Marys in the 4th inning. At least they are solo HR's and not preceded by a free pass.

Leadoff walk followed by a single to start the 5th inning by Peterson. Amazing how that leadoff walk can cause issues. Peterson out, Old Folks Country Sausage in. 2 on no outs. 4 innings for Peterson. Need better in SEC play.

Bunt single trying to sacrifice, bases loaded. No outs. Sausage strikes out the next guy but then a weak grounder to third that Albert should have held onto but throws it away at first base and all 3 runners score. 5-4 St, Marys, for now. Now a single. Sausage gives up 3 hits, the first 2 traveled a grand total of 40 feet. Good pitches, but the throwing error by Albert is not on Sausage. Runners on 1st and 3rd, 1 out, Sausage out, Smith in

Smith walks the first batter he faces. Bases loaded. Smith gets a ground ball to 2B but Kurland a little soft toss to second prevents a DP. Gators appeal the slide but no interference. Smith got the ground ball just a little slow to turn it. 6-4 St. Marys. Smith out Philpott in. First pitch St. Marys try double steal, runner out at home after the throw down to 2B and then back to C. 6-4 bottom 5th

Solo HR by St Mary's to lead of the 7th after Philpott falls behind in the count. Tie game. Philpott out, McNeillie in. Hope he is serving up something different than those Meatballs he passed around on Wednesday to UCF.

Well McNeillie strikes out the first batter he faces, but then of course walked the next hitter before placing the ball on a tee for the next hitter and allowing a 2 run homer. Picking up right where he left of on Wednesday night. 9-7 St. Marys.. Now walks the 9 hole hitter. Something about UF pitching and walking the 9 hole hitter.

Now Mcneillie throws the ball 10 feet over the catchers head. But finally gets out of the inning. 9-7 St. Marys. Safe to say McNeillie has not earned time as a reliever in SEC play yet.

I'm not usually one to start freaking out over bad pitching this early in the season but if it doesn't improve soon then we are gonna struggle bad in SEC play and we arent even going to be hosting a regional this year. Complete shame considering the hitting talent this year.

Gators out in order, lose 9-7. Throwing error by Albert together with some poor pitching did them in.

Excellent relief pitching by the St Mary's guy. 7 innings I think.
