I ran across this nugget last night and if this happens then I'll be be beyond pissed.

If you are a DirecTV, AT&T U-Verse or AT&T TVNow subscriber, you may not be able to view games on @SECNetwork (and other @ESPN and Disney networks) this weekend.

Don't they say that every couple of years or so? Seems like they do...

If they do that, they are going to have to hire a thousand people to work the phones to handle cancellations. We pay too much for cable as it is, and they damn well know it.

There is no reason to have at&t and DirecTV.

If you have it currently, get rid of it...you have way more options

That would suck. I understand Disney is trying to get all the fees they can and you have to play hardball sometimes but it hopefully can be worked out.

Just gives DirecTv another reason to up their rates when it gets worked out. Glad I canceled with them years ago. If you don't watch much cable TV like me, your better off going with a streaming TV service if you have reliable internet. I switched to Sling a few years back, way less money and I can watch all the Gators games as well. Yeah it can suck at times and buffer, but it's worth it to me.

Dish Network pulled this $hit last year with HBO so I had to start streaming HBO elsewhere. My bill went from $199 to $149 but now a year or so later without adding any channels those fcks have crept back up to $179. Then they pretty much quit showing boxing so now I have to subscribe and stream ESPN+ and DAZN to watch boxing. If it weren't college football I'd drop dish completely.

Don't be shocked if uverse actually takes the channels off the air. They pulled off the NFLNetwork before this last Thursday night game, which I thought would never happen.

AT&T is actively trying to sabotage uverse, they want to kill it off and force everyone onto either directv or their streaming service, one less thing for them to have to support.

Hulu live is great. Never looked back. If you have decent internet there is no reason for cable tv or direct tv.

I just went through the YouTube TV guide and here are the stations with a football game on right now:

  1. CBS Sports Network - Maryland at Temple
  2. Big Ten Network - Eastern Michigan at Illinois
  3. Fox Southeast - The Citadel at Georgia Tech
  4. FS1 - NC State at West Virginia
  5. ESPNU - Miami Ohio at Cincinnati
  6. ACC Network - Furman at Virginia Tech
  7. SEC Network - UT Chattanooga at Tennessee
  8. ESPN 2 - Arkansas State at Georgia
  9. ESPN - Kansas State at Mississippi State
  10. ABC - Pitt at Penn State
  11. FOX - Ohio State at Indiana
I’ve never had that many games to choose from even when I paid $150/mo for DirecTV

I have Frontier and get all those games except ACCN, which I don't want anyway.
