UGA was prepared. Read where Kirby wanted to make sure Trask didn't have too long to scan the field and find one of our receivers, "Four of them, and I'm including the TE, will play on Sundays." I'd say he was successful in that regard. I doubt the run scared him at all. He beat the one-armed man in a wood chopping contest. We needed to be near perfect. We weren't. Who knows that there might be some attrition of the staff to go along with the usual player departures?
Great as usual Cover, all the commentary has been good and thought provoking. This is late but traveling to and from the game and grandchildren can do that. I believe we had a case of "stage fright' at the beginning of the game when we needed flawless execution. We dug ourselves a hole we couldn't climb out of against a very powerful and talented team. To me the game was won in the first quarter.
