As of October 2016 (from Business Insider) UCLA ranked #25 in terms of sports revenue at $97m (football revenue $37m) and UF ranked #6 with $147 (and $73mm respectively). It's not even a fair fight dollar-wise. UF wins licensing rights/fees battle $55m to UCLA's $42.5m.Lots of famous and very wealthy boosters coming out of UCLA. Money isn't a problem. For those of you who think why would he go to a lesser desirable program than Florida? Who was coaching at Oregon before CK? Probably can't remember without looking it up. A $10M buyout is nothing for those kind of boosters. 2nd largest TV market in US. Means lots of TV income for the school.......which in turn means lots of $$$$ for it's coach.
