I hope he wasn't hanging out with Grier.......

"***Most had quarterback Kyle Trask around 211-pounds based on a Nike Camp nearly a year ago. Apparently he has been working hard in the weight adding almost 20-pounds."

He has been redshirting since middle school, no doubt he had time to workout. Maybe he keeps working out, he can get some scout team playing time as a DE.

they could've easily transposed it. maybe 175 instead of 157.

Who reported the weights? UF? Stampini at 247 seems pretty stunned at the weight as well in the link.

My money is on a typo. LOL, looking at 247, they even conflict with themselves. Across the black banner at the top it lists him as 5'11" and 185#, but to the right side with the player background it says 5'11 and 165#.

I find Massey's height curious. But Burnett's weight is worrisome. I like that he is from the muck, but at that weight he is going to have to redshirt.

Not saying you are wrong, but was it wise to go all in on Trask to fail? Should that one in a thousand chance of success occur, how long do you think it would be before we forgot?

Oh cmon, law, you know as well as I do that Trask was brought in to hold a clipboard and be insurance against midget QB's ever seeing the field here again in the near future. The kid will go to work, learn the playbook, stay out of trouble, and have no problem being buried on the depth chart for his duration at UF. Should the opportunity arise for him to see the field, he'll more than likely be a decent enough field manager that won't wow anyone and yet won't lose the game all by himself. What limited film we saw of him in high school he at least had good ball placement, a quick release, and showed the ability to run the play that was called and actually throw the ball on time.

I mean I know both you and I hope the kid never has to see the field, but I'd take my chances with Trask over Treon every day and twice on Saturday.

You azzclowns are the one getting excited about a damn high school backup. This kid was 13 the last time he actually started.

The worst waste of a scholarship we've ever had. What an embarrassing day when we are competing against Houston Baptist. This kid isn't even a good walkon candidate.

Maybe next year we can hold out for one of the 14,000 starting High School starting QBs.

Trask lost 2 inches and gained 20lbs lol. Imagine the reaction if he eventually wins the starter job. I'm rooting for chaos.

I would love to see Trask start if he has the talent. I just don't think he'll be anything more than a backup. Hope I'm wrong
