Stephen, since you are considered the Eminence Grise of GCMB, you should enlighten these neophytes with the games early years; explain how it grew out of the sport of gymnasti-basket. The game was pure back then. Players played for the love of the game and the big$$$ was still a few years in the future. All you need to know about Oscar (in the pic) was that one year he AVERAGED a triple double. They had less than 1/3 of he teams they have now so you had the very best college players out there. Russsel and Robertson would be stars today.
