Not even lying, I always genuinely feel sorry for this guy. The look of simultaneous disbelief and hopelessness is incredible, though.
Keep telling yourselves Tennessee is not the up and comping, 'trending" team to be reckoned in the SEC. You'll be like the deer in the headlights next year in Neyland as we prance and dance off the field to the roaring strains of "Rocky Top". It will be a victory for the Ages.
...as we prance and dance off the field to the roaring strains of "Rocky Top"
You know why he's smiling? Thinking about the paradigm shift next year in Neyland. He'll lead the band singing "Rocky top"
Not sure how can you type that for over a decade and keep a straight face.Keep telling yourselves Tennessee is not the up and comping, 'trending" team to be reckoned in the SEC. This one never gets old. In its repetive frames, the nature of the Vol brain trust and what means most to them in potential leaders is displayed. Somewhere, Fulmer is sitting on the sofa in his den sometime between midnight and dawn. Barefooted, his 48/29 kakhis open at the waist to relieve the pressure of a recent meal and his stained and sweaty "wife beater" clinging like so much Saran Wrap, he says to everyone...and no one, "I tried to tell those bastards!" Sadly, he makes better sense than those still in charge.
