The pep in Dancin' Buildin' Dan's step is because it's his first day on the job, and that foreman has already entrusted him with some important jobs to do!
First, Dan is on the way to go look for a sky hook so he can send a concrete stretcher up to the guys on the roof.
After that, his next assignment is to go stand next to the welder with a bucket so he can catch the sparks.
