Surprised no one has mentioned Andy Griffith yet. Show is still funny today.

a lot of us grew up on his shows, especially when the Braves were on a rain delay

he reminded me quite a bit of my father.
I remember sitting in a restaurant outside of Raleigh a few years ago eating with the family when the news of Andy’s death came on the TV.
My wife looked at me and said - “you’re crying aren’t you?”

I’m not crying, you are…

I used to fight with my sisters—weekday afternoons about 5 one station out of Buffalo had Perry Mason and the other station my brother and I wanted had The Three Stooges. Sisters were older and meaner so Perry Mason it was until dad got home…then it was Stooges. Yay for dad!

Only the first season was in B&W then the other 4 seasons were filmed in color. One of my favorites from long ago...

Thread answers begin with recalling what we watched, then trying to find a favorite.

Being a kid of the 70s I watched a lot of
3 Stooges
Little Rascals
Rat Patrol << Yes, someone said it was color....felt B&W to me
Bewitched
I Love Lucy
Honeymooners
Gilligans Island, color and B&W
Andy Griffith
Munsters
Addams Family

I'd have to say, as a kid my favorite was 3 Stooges. Once I got to teens and certainly as an adult, it would be Andy Griffith.
