Mangos were chewing at 21 bottom out of St Aug about a week ago. Got my limit of 5, 4 were 10 lbs plus. Might get back out to to try them again this week.

Had a massive hammerhead take a kingfish about 15 miles out of Jax years ago right on the surface. It’s something you never forget.

besides it scaring the hell out of me it got a 9 dollar mirrordine lure.

Saw two hanging around crabtrap balls but couldn't get them to bite.

They will eat live shrimp or pinfish. Flip one of those in front of them, and they will eat.

Caught one many years ago. It was huge...about 15 pounds. Scales like guitar pics but that meat was awesome.

I went out last weekend in yankeetown. Didn't get a ton, but we ended up getting a about four butter catfish which was surprising. Also caught some regular catfish, two small hammerheads, and a sheephead.

Those small hammerheads were likely bonnethead sharks. Catch a ton of them at the mouth of the St. John’s in the spring while flounder fishing around the jetties. I think they only get up to about 15 pounds or so. 2-3 is about the average size.
