Going down to the condo next week I hope they are still there thanks for posting.Been in Steinhatchee scalloping the last 4 days. Much better than last year. We spent most of our time in Deadman’s Bay about a mile South of the inlet. It’s the first time I have got them good that close to the inlet.
Good luck, give us the report.Going down to the condo next week I hope they are still there thanks for posting.
I would have all ready been down but Had the Condo in the rental pool.
Forgive me if already discussed, but is that you on the video?
It's me on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays.
@JDW I'll add the video later after it's posted. Here are the 2 big fish of the day from this morning. Russ caught a 56lb flathead and I got a 30lb blue cat.
I haven't verified it myself, but Russ sent me a text yesterday claiming his fish was only 12 pounds from the Virginia state record Flathead. He's still pretty giddy over it.I’m sorry I didn’t see it until tonight...for some reason it never alerted me

That's my favorite part about fishing in the late night/early morning. Seeing the sun rise and the fog/steam coming off the water. Those gopros do a great job of capturing it. I just wish they worked a little better in low light. Even with tons of lighting in and around my boat, it was still hard to see much of Russ' fight with that fish.Wow, that’s impressive. Really love the fog along the banks in the distance of the top picture. Looks like a Bob Ross painting.
In the video you can hear me at one point asking Russ if that fish was going to whip him and he said "well, I ain't whipping it!".Russ looks like he's fading quick in that picture.
