Been in Steinhatchee scalloping the last 4 days. Much better than last year. We spent most of our time in Deadman’s Bay about a mile South of the inlet. It’s the first time I have got them good that close to the inlet.

@JDW I'll add the video later after it's posted. Here are the 2 big fish of the day from this morning. Russ caught a 56lb flathead and I got a 30lb blue cat.

I haven't verified it myself, but Russ sent me a text yesterday claiming his fish was only 12 pounds from the Virginia state record Flathead. He's still pretty giddy over it.

Wow, that’s impressive. Really love the fog along the banks in the distance of the top picture. Looks like a Bob Ross painting.

That's my favorite part about fishing in the late night/early morning. Seeing the sun rise and the fog/steam coming off the water. Those gopros do a great job of capturing it. I just wish they worked a little better in low light. Even with tons of lighting in and around my boat, it was still hard to see much of Russ' fight with that fish.:weep:

You’ll have to come down so we can go out on a charter boat in Homosassa for redfish and grouper
