There’s some sad things known to man,
But there ain’t too much sadder than
The tears of a clown

Okay, but it was how they were putting up those numbers. You have to admit that a lot of it was poor execution and at times a baffling unwillingness to attack the LOS by BSU. For most of the first half they dropped 8 and played spongy zone coverage against a team struggled all year to keep defenses from setting the edge on runs and whose wide receivers showed little physicality when pressed. When they switched this up Briles had no answers and Mr. "I'm the captain now" folded. I'm not seeing anything that would lead me to believe this is an offense that is going to put up big numbers when they have face teams that they don't vastly out athlete.

As another example of their great business acumen, today’s game was the first part of a home and home with Boise that FSU moved to Jax. Since it was moved to Tally on relative short notice, they charged one price for tickets($15?) as it was general admission. So, I suspect, they made less money on a game moved to their home stadium than if they had just scheduled it there in the first place.

I'm guessing there was some sort of insurance policy that they'll cash in. But, on the other hand, maybe not....

Blackmon still looks dangerously thin.

Well, half of Blackman musta been on suspension.?
This game is why I refer to Taggert as Willtee -- he teaches wilting.
I always have admired Boise State ... now more than ever.
I think I heard one announcer say during pre-game that Boise's freshman QB lead all H.S. QBs in stats.??
Let's see how Willtee stitches them back up.
Really, they looked like they've regressed from last year. = that Wiltee Touch.

Speaking of shambles, how about that FSU defense? Yikes. True freshman running back. True freshman QB.

Not sure if any of this has been mentioned already, because so many happy Gators have replied...

BSU QB is a freshman!

UNCONQUERED!

Clowns gonna clown.

Give willie a contract extension.

Did I cover all the bases? Enjoy it, Gators!!!

Couple more fun stats:
FSU ran 62 plays; Boise ran 108.
FSU was 1-12 on third down & 1-2 on fourth; Boise was 10-19.
FSU possessed the ball for fewer than 20 minutes (meaning, of course, Boise has it for over 40)
Despite FSU’s “Lethal Simplicity” Boise had 11 tackles for loss.
FSU had 19 1st downs; Boise had 38.
Game was probably closer than it should have been.
