I just saw the 3 decommitsIDK. Shyt like that leaks doesn't it.
I really think the 3 decommits today means no coach.
If this is true: oooooof!
Happened earlier this week, supposedly. And I agree - would be hard to believe that one of the boosters in that meeting wouldn’t have said something before but they’re also invested in the future of that program and have incentive to keep something like that quiet. They’d be in a true lose-lose if it was true. It's had to believe because it's too big of a story not to have been picked up by a major outlet. This is a bombshell.
He’s so tremendous he was passed up by every job last year. Ole Miss would rather have Kiffen. This is gonna be good.I honestly find it hard to believe but I love the accusation.
N word is a huge stretch but wouldn’t surprise me if he used “black” and whoever related the story exaggerated it. Either way, point would be the same. A booster rallied the troops to stop a guy from getting the job based on his color. Just doesn’t have the bad word to go with it.I don't buy that someone in a room full of people used the n-word. I haven't heard it in at least a decade even in private. Maybe he said "unqualified black". But still I doubt any of those boosters would say that openly (think it - maybe).
I would love to believe it, but I just don't see it happening. In any case in this day and age facts don't matter so hopefully it spreads like wildfire.N word is a huge stretch but wouldn’t surprise me if he used “black” and whoever related the story exaggerated it. Either way, you know ESPN is spinning up the war machine to investigate. The FSU admin has bungled this search so badly that stories like this are at least believable.I would love to believe it, but I just don't see it happening. I actually doubt the entire story. But if it did happen, I bet it was without the race aspect. I suspect that one way or the other Haggins was out (his choice or Norvell’s) and that drove off the recruits. If it did happen, even without the N word, then it will come out eventually.N word is a huge stretch but wouldn’t surprise me if he used “black” and whoever related the story exaggerated it. I can believe the gist of the story, that Thrasher wanted to hire Odell, but a booster or boosters loudly protested more along the lines of lack of merit vs. race. The reason it seems somewhat believable is because it explains the phantom press conferenceI

$5.5m annually for a G5 coach stepping up for the first time to the Power 5 seems pricey. Heck, Schianno’s only getting $4m per year in the Big 10.
Shows you how much leverage he had. A guy that NO P5 school wanted during last year's coaching search season lands almost as much as Mullen got from UF, after being a proven P5/SEC head coach.
Any head coach who doesn’t have Jimmy Sexton as their agent is foolish.Shows you how much leverage he had. A guy that NO P5 school wanted during last year's coaching search season lands almost as much as Mullen got from UF, after being a proven P5/SEC head coach.
