Let’s bring in our expert on Bell - @NOLAGATOR - to educate us.
UCLA!!!I've got one thing to say about all you coaching talent gurus...NEBRASKA!!!
They actually score points, which I hear is important to an offense.I've got one thing to say about all you coaching talent gurus...NEBRASKA!!!
I read on another board that Charlie is running a Buttersesque sh*tshow over at USF; no structure, practices are planned at the last minute via text messages, and there's very little discipline. I'm afraid that Kerwin hitched himself to a sinking ship.
They scored a touchdown!
Final score: GT 14, USF 10
Tech's 76 passing yards were just too much to overcome.
Stats for USF: 169 passing, 93 rushing.
Didn't UF lose to a team with less than a yard passing? What do both have in common, defense/conservative head coaches.
I wouldn’t hire anyone that fat.
Yeah I said it.
That’s what happens when you hire defensive head coaches. They let inferior teams hang around and it comes back to bite them in the ass, unlike Spurrier, who would bury teams early, giving them no hope at all of getting a lucky bounce that would help them win the game.Didn't UF lose to a team with less than a yard passing? I don't get that much enjoyment out of the struggles of a great ex-Gator. I think Kerwin deserves a chance, same as most everyone else does.Even you have to admit it's amusing that their offense is ten times worse than last year.
Good God lighten up.I don't get that much enjoyment out of the struggles of a great ex-Gator. I think Kerwin deserves a chance, same as most everyone else does.
I’ve never been totally comfortable with that theory. Hell the single most successful HCs in college and the pros over the last ten years are both defensive guys (and both Croatian oddly enough). I think when defensive guys forget the object of the game is to score points is when they fail. So far this season, it looks like Orgeron has finally figured that out. In general though, Offensive guys do tend to win more championships. That’s what happens when you hire defensive head coaches.
