Gator Pro Day 2025: Big Dez weighs in at record 464 pounds

I think 415 was more of a goal than an actual weight.
Surprised my ass...those scouts were likely shocked that something resembling the Goodyear blimp could fit inside the football facility...

My guess is at that size he's probably only a roll of duct tape and a good colon cleansing from getting to "around " 415# though.

During his career at Florida, Watson has steadily increased his weight every year, per the Associated Press. As a sophomore, he played at 415 pounds. That number jumped to 435 pounds as a junior and 449 pounds as a senior. Between the end of the college football season and Florida's pro day, Watson managed to put on 15 more pounds.

I seriously doubt Watson makes a roster. At 400, he'd have a real chance. His weight (464) is insane, and could/would keep going up. All that shows is he has absolutely no discipline with his diet. He knew he should lose weight to make an NFL roster and make a lot of money and he still didn't do it. I mean good God, he had months to prepare for this pro day and maybe lose a few pounds. NOPE. If anything, he's GAINED weight since the season ended. NFL coaching staffs don't have the patience for it.

I keep hearing comparisons to Gilbert Brown, but he's SEVENTY POUNDS heavier. The man is too fat. Period.

When he stops playing football for good (and I think that day is already upon us), he's likely to balloon to 500 or even 600.
I said a year ago that he should have red-shirted last year to get down a 100 pounds.

The Crete Weightloss Plan.

Good luck to him. Does he have a chance at a rookie deal or lucky to make a practice squad?
Several of our recent OT have had poor athletic measurables and are still in the NFL.

This isnt everything. I expect Crenshaw to stick for a while. He doesnt have the measurables that Big Trent, Stone, Juwaan Taylor, big Fred have, but Crenshaw is solid. He probably can play guard also.

I remember watching Gilbert Brown growing up in WI. He was ridiculously athletic for his size. Local Burger King in Green Bay made the Gilbertburger in honor of him.
