You can argue all you want about how great an AD Fooley is but this article tells a different story. Just what kind of a fiasco would be required to turn a power house program like Florida into the cluster f**k we have now. Football, the Golden Goose of our athletic program has been plucked, fried and served up to our competition. And to think that the chump is still employed and on the recruiting trail. These kids are young but they're not retarded. I'm too disgusted to continue. .

Once we get a new coach that ranking will rise when kids quit jumping off the Gator train and start jumping back on.

And it's a drum that needs to continue be beaten. Keeping Champ around is damaging. Foley just needs to get it done. Like a bandaid. Quick and painless.

Obviously Florida's recruiting is pretty concerning this year, particularly in a year that could have and probably should have been one of those "national championship" type classes with how much elite talent there is in the state.

But at this point, having few commitments isn't a terrible thing. Obviously you'd rather lose the other riff-raff commitments than the All-Americans, but I don't think having a lot of spots for a new staff to fill is the worst thing in the world. He doesn't get stuck with quite as many guys who may not fit his system, and he can really target and go after a select handful that can really help right away, while rolling over the extra scholarships for a big second recruiting class. Thinking mostly offense here, because that's where Florida's really missing playmakers.

Linebacker is definitely going to be a concern, though.

If we fire Muschamp after the Georgia game and get a good coach named by early December I think we could get a 20th ranked area class possibly but if Muschamp isn't canned until after the season it may stay pretty ugly.

Muschamp coaching until the end of the season or being fired after the Georgia game won't matter to recruiting. What will matter is how quickly we name our new head coach.

This is true to an extent. At this point, the damage has already been done. He should've never stepped foot on UF's campus after the GSU game last year. That said, is an interim stepped in and did even a decent job, it would indicate that UF was going in a positive direction and that some fo the staff(possibly their direct recruiter) may be retained. At this point, it looks like there will be a fire sale at year's end and the kids have no idea if anyone will return, or if UF is headed anywhere positive. Because of that, he needs to be shown the door immediately. It may make no positive difference, but it clearly is a negative having him hang around.

The good news is this has to be rock bottom for Gator Nation. Well, maybe after Georgia's done with us, then its rock bottom.

We thought Georgia Southern was rock-bottom. It appears we can get lower.
