Here is what I don;t understand about Gilbert. As a frosh he was becoming their top target and that was on a shyt team with 2 true frosh QB's. Farmer Fran stayed committed to throwing the ball even after Brady left so with a year's experience, it seemed Gilbert was set for a big year potentially at LSU. Instead he wanted to to come to UF where blocking is a privaledge and then ends up at UGly to play Shart ball which is akin to Muscrat ball. seems like the grass was greener where he was to begin with.

Not at all. Actually, the reason he cussed Kirby out is b/c Smart wanted to keep the team at practice for an extra 15 minutes and this kid wanted to get back to the library & finish his Quantum Physics dissertation.
