From the article:
Tim Tebow accounted for 35 total touchdowns in his senior season in 2009. That was good enough to earn him a trip to New York City as a Heisman Trophy finalist. This season Feleipe Franks, in one fewer game, accounted for 31. Say what you will about whether Franks is a good college quarterback or is the future at the position for the Gators, but the improvement on paper is mind-boggling.
EJ has a high mountain to climb if he's going to usurp our boy Feleipe next season.
Being overlooked :
1) Franks is rare in how little air-time it takes the ball to get to WRs.
2) Franks completes a lot of long passes = 20 yds, 30 yds, even 40 yds. That's not run of the mill QB ability.
3) Franks running ability (ypg production) is still unplumbed. Next year.
4) It's feasible that Franks (with Mullen) can increase his passing accuracy 10%-15%.
5) List 4 comparable things you know that's coming from EJ.
