I thought Robinson was on a team as a RB.

That's the latest I guess. He's dabbled around as a WR, a return specialist and now appears to have settled on RB, mostly as a third down specialist.

By the way, Russell Wilson is 6 feet tall in his dreams. Measured in at 5'11" at the combine.

That, or he'll learn how to play the Brandon Powell position. If Denard Robinson and Tyler Murphy are on NFL rosters as WR's, Treon surely can. There hasn't been an NFL QB under 6-foot since Doug Flutie. I know, Russell Wilson is only 6 foot even. I'm pretty sure Treon is no Russell Wilson.

I honestly am beginning to think this was all part of Mac's plan to build both QB's up and keep them both in the program. We all have known that Grier has looked better in practice and camp for awhile now. But starting Grier right of the bat would have looked unfair to Treon and quite possibly it would have made him transfer. This way it looks more like Grier earned it while Mac still gave Treon a fair shot.I fully expect Treon to be a part of all of our game plans the rest of the year and I still think he will play a lot in this ECU game. Mac has been saying that since post game interviews last week. He's made it perfectly clear both will play and will share snaps in about the same proportion. Of course he could change his mind during the course of the game if things change which makes him revise his plan.

So when you combine the 2-deep of every NFL team at the QB position, that's 64 players, it's a safe assumption that Russell Wilson is the only one under, or at, 6 foot. So my point stands; Treon, grab a clipboard or grab some WR gloves and hit the jugs machine. Unless someone thinks he's the next Russell Wilson or Drew Brees.

And assisting Russell WIlson is the fact that he has hands the size of a Sasquatch. The average hand size for an NFL QB is 9.6 inches, the average hand size for an average, everyday male, is 7.6 inches. Russell Wilson checks in at 10.25 inches.

You're right, I thought of him too after I read that article on height and hand size of NFL QB's. Oddly enough, Brees and Wilson have two of the largest hands in the league, both at 10.25 inches, while also being the shortest two.

he isn't, but he was just at 6' according to the combine. I didn't find him to be much taller than Chris Leak.

I have no problem with Harris getting a share of reps as long as were in control of the game even into SEC play. Grier seems to be what were looking for in a QB for the most part, this season and certainly in the future. That being said if Grier separates again this week he needs a larger share of reps than Harris. Remember though, Grier has not seen press coverage along with a great pass rush and our offense could stall out in these tougher games, LSU, Mizzou,Ole Miss, UGA, and FSU are different animals. Treon's mobility and legs could be an asset moving the sticks or as a change of pace when big boy ball rolls around..

actually it was reported that he might but there were no promises on who was going to start in fact Mac said himself yesterday that he was going to go back and watch practice film and tie that in with game film before making a decision.

It's good we have two quarterbacks with game experience. But you hope one of them will separate himself from the other one so that he is the clear cut choice to be the starter. I hope (and I think he will) Mac will decide on a starter and go with that guy the rest of the season. One team. One quarterback. One for the money.
