As you said, not as a Head Coach... but I beleive he does as a coordinator. And McElwain is going to be paid 3.5M so he he will be $350,000 less than Mulzahn was last year, the year after getting an extension for going to the National Title game..

I would like to add that we would would like to be the BEST in the SEC. We have to pay the BEST salary. That is is the way it works in the rest of the world. The top lawyers make the best money, the top doctors make the best money, etc... Foley is trying to defy the laws of nature. He trying to pull of the Priceline strategy in college football. I could say the same about our facilities. Just make everything the best and we will get the best.

He went 10-2 with a core of players that went 3-9 the year before he got there and 4-8 in his first season. You saw how badly they performed in the bowl game after he left. I don't think that's coincidence.

Sorry I didn't immediately recognize him as a liar when he promised a multiple, balanced offense. By 2012, however, I did however what a loser he was and would be, when MOST of you thought we had a champion... and I took an incredible amount of shiiiit for it.

You can't get it for that. And a better analogy would be buying an chIphone 4 for $200 (and buying out our old contract for an exhorbitant amount) and thinking we got a bargain because the 5s and 6s just cost too much.

Here's hoping our 3rd tier chIphone 4 will be good enough.
