In looking at the first three years winning percentage of well known Coaches at their first Major college job. Something interesting shows up.

Nick Saban at MSU -
6 - 5 - 1 = 50%
6 - 6 = 50%
7 - 5 = 58%
Avg: 53%

Steve Spurrier at Duke -
5 - 6 = 45%
7 - 3 - 1 = 63%
8 - 4 = 66%
Avg: 58%

Billy Donovan at UF -
13 - 17 = 43%
15 - 16 = 48%
22 - 9 = 71%
Avg: 54%

Will Muschamp at UF: -
7 - 6 = 54%
11 - 2 = 85%
4 - 8 = 33%
Avg: 57%

It looks like WM is 1 point behind SOS but 3 above BD and 4 better than Satan.

Florida is not MSU or Duke.

Those are very interesting facts. We all know WM had to learn to be a head coach fast or he wouldn't last long. Hopefully he can make the same turn to excellence those other guys did once they got a handle on running the whole show.

Pumper. You're just trying to start something. next thread you'll be starting will be qb completion stats.

Of course not but winning percentage doesn't change based on what school is represented.

Would you rather talk about uniform color?

QB completion stats are interesting to me..... :scratchchin:

Which one of those guys was a 50% coach at a top five program? Only one. Each of those other guys took over shiiit programs in the bottom of their league and made them into championsip contenders. Their records IMPROVED after a rough start. One of those guys took a top program and made it into a cellar dweller. It's basically the exact opposite of what Spurrier and Saban did.

And none of them were too stupid to know you had to score to win.

Some of you are quite desperate to make Mr. Missing Chromosome Dwag into anything but Gator Coach with the worst record (two losing SEC seasons) in the last 50 years. Dogcramp will be known for ruining the championship defense that Meyer left with his mentally handicapped offensive ideas.

That stat is ridiculous. Neither Duke or MSU had just come off of 2 NCs in 4 years. And damn near 3 if Tebow wasn't blind side sacked into a year long concussion. And UF was NOTHING in basketball prior to Donovan.

The facts speak for themselves. You can try to make excuses to support your assumption but winning percentage is easy to document. Everything you "claim" is just your feelings, nothing more.

1st three years at a major university.

So if I go undefeated as a pop warner coach, I'm better than Saban?

Jackpot. We aren't a program were coaches come with training wheels still on (see Zook, Ron). The Donovan comparison is moot since basketball at the time he came was a distant second to football, and that after a recent Final Four appearance in 1994 as well.

The facts are that one soon to be unemployed Fleabag was 1-5 in rivalry games, something like 3-12 versus ranked teams, 0-4 versus any team from Gyorgya, 1-1 versus I-AA teams. The facts are that the other three were increasing their winning percentages and building dominate programs while the Dog was losing to IAA teams and Vandy. And that the other three were employed after their fourth year.

That's what the facts are.

With all due respect to Ron Zook, he never went 3-5 twice and 4-8. Never failed to qualify for a bowl game. Never lost to Vandy. Never lost to Jyorga south. It's wrong to compare them. Zook was just mediocre. Mushchimp is pathetic.

I like facts too. Here's one from Wikipedia: When Saban arrived in East Lansing, Michigan prior to the 1995 season, MSU had not had a winning season since 1990, and the team was sanctioned by the NCAA for recruiting violations committed under his predecessor and former mentor, George Perles.

Take a look at how many games Dook won before SOS arrived. I'd guess 4 or 5 in the previous decade. They made Kintucky look like a powerhouse.

I don't even think DC believes this shiiit. He lives too close to jorgya and may well be an undercover fleabag.

Obviously, the cops would bring four uhauls to your house and take all gloves and clothing, plus everything else from your home.

FNC reporting that a glove has been found inside the Guthrie home. How can it be found 10+ days after the event? Has incompetence impacted every aspect of local/state/fed govt?
If they search my house, they will find lots of pairs of gloves (and some toddler mittens too). So, the first question is whether the glove in question is connected to the kidnapper. Then, the next question is when was it found and has it been forensically examined. They may have found it right away on day one and just didn't announce it. Evidence is often (almost always) withheld from the public unless it helps the investigation. If it was just discovered, then why the delay? Why wasn't it found sooner? Was it really well concealed? OJ jokes aside, leaving a glove behind is really dumb.

Excellent find. The fact that this song was originally performed by Temple of the Dog is clearly an homage to both the weird Epstein rituals and the inevitable shift from fiat currency to Dogecoin. Can’t believe they got Chris too.

in fairness, if this Savannah is anything like my wife, the glove was probably in the toaster oven.
