Ladies Softball In A Bit Of Trouble

Just wrapped up an embarrassing and lackluster performance, getting shutout in the opener of the best of three to UGA, 3-0.

We have to beat UGA twice tomorrow starting at 5 pm to get to OKC for a chance at the 3-peat. If they keep trying to kill the ball every time up at the plate like they did tonight, we will be two and barbecue in the super regional.

I didn't see last night's game, but I was hoping uga led with their most dominant pitcher, only to show a lack of depth on the mound in games 2 and 3. I hope I guessed correctly, but it's blind hope and speculation. Go Lady Gators!!!

It's softball, so I'm pretty sure the same pitcher could easily pitch 2 of 3 games, if not 2 in a row, if that's what the coach decided.

I'm not a 100% certain what the actual rules are either, but with softball, the coach doesn't have to worry about burning out the pitcher as in baseball. The mechanics of the underhand throw aren't as debilitating as the overhand throw.
