We’ll see how Montreal responds, but last night looked like the Lightning were on a power play most of the night. Classic moment when Suzuki shoved Hetland and he didn’t even budge.

They do have a bad tendency to turn the puck over right in front of their goal.

That was Gallagher moments before Sergi dropped him on his head.

Correction appreciated.

Suzuki was absent the whole game. It was like he was never even on the ice. So was that rookie Caulfield. Big bad Weber was minimal as well. Tampa did a great job of just totally shutting the Habs down for the entire game. It was funny listening to the talking heads trying give Montreal some credit for some sort of 2nd period push but that time they are talking about was a lot more like it was an even game for a few minutes versus any type of push by them. Their goal was about as lucky as it gets. It was a complete dominant game from the drop of the puck until the end of the game.

Having said that, its seven games.

Next year will be hard. We are $18m over the cap. Hopefully erbody is using that as motivation for this cup.

Jeez, sounds like another rent-a-championship? You realize if GGG finds this out, he’ll be insufferable for days. Seriously, where do you draw the line, Tampa?

Kuch is only the 5th player in NHL history to score 30+ points in 2 or more post seasons.

The player who slashed the back of his leg got fined $5k.

Gator great Thad Bullard (Titus O'Neil) gifted a Tampa firefighter tickets to the game tonight.

Killorn is out for tonight's game

It sucks that Killorn is out.

I still think we take it though. 3-1.

Kucherov is special. Although the number does surprise me a bit. I would assume that Gretzky’s had about seven or eight seasons like that.

Montreal plays the best game they could possibly play against us, but they still lose 3-1 :lmao2:

Up 2-0 and a chance to win the cup in Montreal's backyard. Awesome

In front of 3500 fans! exciting.

Though...tbh I wouldn't mind losing one and winning it in 5 to win it on home ice...

Another blowout that was expected. Probably one of the biggest mismatches in Stanley Cup history. Montreal way in over its head vs TB and TB should sweep this thing easily with the largest margin of victory in SC history.

That had to hurt. Montreal gonna have a long flight home and its going to sting. They responded great tonight to the whooping they got on Monday but Vasi said 'No, you shall not pass!' Lot less chirping, pushing and roughing in between plays tonight too.

Im getting sick and tired of them slashing away from the play and not getting called.
