Just saw an article saying Orgeron is the best coach in college football.
A defensive guy who recruits well, but the only one competent enough to know the purpose of the game is to score points and win instead of showcasing the defense.

Right now.... maybe he is.

He isnt just stubbornly sticking to his old plan that never worked before and still doesnt work.

When Orgeron was at Ole Miss he didn’t know how to be a head coach. He tried to micromanage everything and didn’t know how to delegate. But he learned from his three disastrous years at Ole Miss.

Of course the new look offense installed at LSU has helped and having a field general like Joe Burrow makes Brady’s and Orgeron’s jobs easier.

It goes to show you that in some cases hiring a head coach with previous head coaching experience is a good thing especially one with previous head coaching experience in a league like the SEC. .Orgeron? Yes. Mullen? Check. Muscahamp? Well maybe not.
Chimp would be the exception that proves the rule.
