I call him Mr. HGH. Hardest substance to test for. Essentially have to have someone in your circle rat you out. He'll have an asterisk by his tally one day soon.

So if you don;t include either McGwire or Sam Sosa (maybe that is Hamm Sammich), but include Bonds, since Mac and Sam both hit more that 62, then the poll is simply a pole. So more than 62 has been done multiple times, so let this be just a Yankee record and leave it at that.

I still say Roger Maris
'Cause when Roger played every Little Leaguer took on the persona of the Yankee player at their position. Yogi, Whitey, Moose, Clete, Roger, Mickey, whoever the other fielder was, Bobby. Even me, who stills has a distaste for all things Northern.

I was a huge McGwire fan, thus the “Mac” in gatormac2112. With that said I think the true record is Judge. Sosa, McGwire, Bonds, Clemens, etc., should have * next to their numbers. I believe they all should be in the HOF, but the records shouldn’t count. Judge is the true record holder until it’s proven he shouldn’t be.

Agreed -
Just saw this a few minutes ago:

"Last night he (Judge) broke the AL Home Run record (62).

Aaron ALSO struck out 167 times this season. Tony Gwynn struck out 167 times in all the 90's.

People won't remember you for your failures, but will for your successes you achieved in life.

Striking out 167 times isn’t a big deal when you’re batting .310 though. It’s not like McGwire hitting 60 homers batting .240 or some shyt :lol2:
