How does it shoot?
Why do you need it?

I know very little about suppressors other than the punishment for unlawfully possessing one is pretty severe - the only ones I’ve actually ever seen were home-made. Are they difficult to clean? Is there other maintenance required? Does the effectiveness lessen over time/use?Filled out the paperwork in late February to acquire my first suppressor. After a 5 month wait I was able to bring my new accessory home today.

The pillow is an underrated weapon. My old gf used to have something looked like that in her nightstand but it had a few more attachments.
I read an article on the TX22, and it's supposed to be a pretty nice pistol. There was a lady shooting one at the gun range the other day but she wouldn't let me try it out. As for the silencer I always just used a pillow over the face, seems to keep things a lot cleaner.
I still remember my first can...

I thought this was a thread about dip. Skoal or Cope what was your first? :D
Are you in Florida? I just bought a threaded barrel for my Beretta and wondering how long the paperwork will take for a suppressor. Gun store told me a year.Filled out the paperwork in late February to acquire my first suppressor. After a 5 month wait I was able to bring my new accessory home today.

The backlog/lead time on getting a tax stamp from ATF is astronomical right now for consumers. I guess I get everyone wanting one for a pistol (but not really, at all), i definitely like them on some of my rifles, but that a completely different game. Are you in Florida? I'm thinking of getting a J&K "Solvent Trap". My understanding is you can get the paper work for "do-it-yourself" cans much faster because the gun laws in this country make soo much sense.
Yeah, it's mostly just for shyts and grins. AFAIK Florida doesn't have any public land where you can shoot willy-nilly. So you're regulated to ranges where you're likely the only one with a suppressor and you'll still need to wear ears. The backlog/lead time on getting a tax stamp from ATF is astronomical right now for consumers.
