I am fine with his reasoning of the foundation being built by recruiting, but as a few others have said the portal is not going away. Every game I watch guys making big plays were transfers. That doesn't mean go the Norvel way either where you use that in place of recruiting. I think there is a balance, but when there is a big position of need you need to be aggressive rather than standing back for what is left over.
