Vegas sportsbook operator CG Technology, usually one of the earliest stateside books to release college football odds, dropped its SEC championship odds Monday.
Alabama opens as the favorite to win the title, followed by Auburn and Georgia. Vegas doesn’t have much love for the SEC East, which represents the four biggest longshots to win the 2015 title.

LSU: 8/1
Ole Miss: 8/1
Tennessee: 8/1
Arkansas: 10/1
Missouri: 12/1
Mississippi State: 12/1
Texas A&M: 15/1

Kentucky: 75/1
Vanderbilt: 100/1

A lot of love for Tenn again. I think Ole Miss will struggle with expectations and think A&M is a little low.

Nope but I was kind of expecting them to have us about tied with SC.

Gotta remember, they install these lines to get people to bet and make money off of them. No one expects anything from UF so they make the odds long to generate some betting. That's said, I don't think we have much of a shot at winning anything this year either.

I don't disagree with that at all, really. I think we have a good shot at upsetting some teams we're expected to lose to this year but nothing's certain especially with our offensive line. How the hell everyone is so high on UGA gets me. Shut down Chubb, you shut down Georgia.

The Dwags are just the prettiest fat girl left at closing time. The East is expected to suck...again.

And most likely it will suck again. UGA always loses a couple they shouldn't and always overhyped, South Carolina's defense needs a huge amount of work, our offensive line will consist of true freshmen coming out of high school and Tennessee will be better, but not as good as some people are making them out to be. Of course, this is just my humble opinion.

Especially on the O-line. UGA returns 4 of the 5 starters upfront.

I think the Dwags are expected to be much improved on defense with their youngsters having a year under their belt in the new DCs system. Obviously, that remains to be seen. And you're correct about their running game...gonna be tough to stop with any semblance of a passing attack. I think the East is theirs to lose this year and I'd love for us to be the spoilers. We're still down, USC sucks again, UK is UK, the Vols are the Vols and Missou should take a step back.
