Back to UF next year ... will his playing time diminish with the presence of freshman stars?
No. We need a pass first PG with court vision to set up the other players. He had bumps along his freshman year, but he fits the bill.

I agree with Midwest. I have already seen Mann described as combo guard and I think this is why UF took Glover. In general guards like to call themselves PGs coming out of high school no matter what their skill set. Additionally Nembhard who was rated as highly as Mann has a year of experience on him.

Glad we've got him. Hope those strengthened muscles are quick-twitch ones in his legs. We need an inside shot alterater. Want no more opposing insiders dominating us.
Want more driving assists, Nembrandt in the paint.

If it is about a starting spot, we have the edge on Kentucky. Blackshear is not guaranteed a starting spot over Sestina or Montgomery. He starts immediately at UF.

And he’s from Orlando. Can’t imagine he picks UK over us, but UK does have a fantastic car salesman as their coach...

Blackshear starts over any big man that Kentucky has or has coming in

It depends on Montgomery and how he develops in the offseason. He is a legit nba prospect who has a chance to go in the first round at some point. Blackshear has no prayer whatsoever of playing in the nba. I agree that Blackshear is better right now. But Montgomery really doesn't have that far to go to surpass Blackshear since he is so far better than him athletically. Plus, Blackshear will be in a rotation getting 14-18 minutes a game. He'll get more than that at UF.

He didn't get an invite to the nba combine. Hell, even the g-league wouldn't give him an invite to their scouting camp. That tells you what the league thinks of him. He's an outstanding college player. That is it.

I’d be willing to bet at some point - may not be right out of college - he will be a role player on an NBA team.

I like his game. I'm surprised he didn't even get a sniff. In the end, I still see a team signing him to a g-league contract. Although, I'd go play in Europe if I were him. More money to be made.

An article in "The Athletic" today implied Nemhard would have been a 2nd round pick and coming back was a tough decision for him. If true, it means the NBA sees him as having real potential. Hopefully, he works on the aspects of his game that need it. If he does, he could be really good next season. He already has tremendous court vision.

His size for the position resonates as well as playmaking instincts but he is still very raw - GLeague or playing for the Gators might be difficult because you don’t get to start your dream of being a pro, but I think it is a good call for him.

Blackshear will most likely end up at UK. I still can't figure out why it is so tough for us to get big men here. I just saw that the Semi's picked up a 7 footer as a transfer . From Poland, an obvious hot bed of recruiting . He did have a brief stop at Drake for a Pieroki or two.
That gives them three 7 foot (one 7 3) centers for 2019. They have obviously cracked the code here, and watch these guys stay on for 4 years. I don't believe that Hamilton is a good coach but he is smart enough to keep his big man recruiting specialist Stan Jones, on board to bring in these guys. We need to figure this out. I am tired of losing to them and they have clearly passed us as the top program in the State. These big men don't even have UF on their radar.

I think in the past it was a matter of style. Not every big fit Donovan's style, but of course he did a very good job of finding and signing bigs who fit his style.

For White as of now his rep is playing four guys 6'6" or shorter. So if you are a big kid, you see yourself competing for one slot and UF has a bunch of other guys bigger than Johnson. I am hoping UF can get Hall in this class and eventually play some combination of Hall, Payne, Stokes and Jitoboh together and establish there are minutes at UF for two bigs.

Got to join the ranks of schools with 7 footers. Good for photo-shoots. And some inside scoring and rebounds.

Most likely? Per whom?
