Providence's W-L 6-5. They have about 4 guys 6'7" - 6'9". UF is taller. They have lost games to crummy teams. UF should handle them easily, so look for a tight nail-biting contest.

After a spacious practice gap, let's see how fired up these Gators approach this game. To them, this should be these Gators' chance to turn the adrift-season around the corner.

IMO, 2020 football season should force White into often serving as Mr. 2-bits. (that's impossible to visualize :cool:). Can you see a difference if Mullin was brought in to raise this basketball team's enthusiasm?

2.5h drive with the wife and son (10y old), met the BIL (from NJ). Row 12 behind the backboard. Wife is super pumped with a gator Santa hat and she made a poster with our son in hopes of being seen on tv.

It's a mixed blessing at best - the BB "team" is a collection of parts waiting to be assembled into something that resembles an effective, reasonably cohesive unit. I'll watch because I'm a Gator fan and that's what I do, but I've learned not to get my hopes up with MW as HC.

80-85% Florida fans, of a VERY small overall crowd. Earlier game (Princeton over Iona, during rush hour traffic) barely had 1k, I’d put this game at 3-4K for tip-off. Arena holds 20k. Nice arena, but very empty. I guess Miami is the big draw for prime time.
