NCAA compliance question: Lebrun James apparently gifted every player on the team wireless headphones. Those have to be a few hundred dollars each. How is that not a violation? What would be different than him handing out envelopes with a few hundred dollars in it?
He probably blames that for the loss.Must’ve broke his heart to see that opening OSU drive with all the passing.
Wow - really? Didn’t know that. Is that an annual total or each instance? The NCAA allows gifts of up to $550. What it doesn’t allow is the player turning right around and selling it.

I’m assuming that includes their bowl gifts too, right? No way that didn’t tip the threshold. It’s per player for bowls.

Wheaties is known as the breakfast of champions, Papa John's the dinner of losers.
Agree all around. Right call, don’t like the rule. OSU has definitely been on the losing end of the close ones today.
When are the powers that be going to relegate the Big 12 to Pac 12 status in the hierarchy if college football. LSU had a nice practice/exhibition game yesterday.
OU was awful and probably the worst one loss team.
