Now hes probably finished in Cleveland, what a fu*ktard!
A pair of Cleveland Browns defensive players spent Christmas morning in custody as both linebacker Armonty Bryant and cornerback De'AnteSaunders were arrested.
According to Scott Taylor of WOIO TV, Bryant and Saunders were stopped and arrested at 2:16 a.m. ET Friday.
Taylor also reported that a gun and the prescription drug Adderall were found in the car after Bryant and Saunders were stopped.
Browns general manager Ray Farmer released a statement on the matter, and he revealed that Bryant will not play in Sunday's Week 16 game against theKansas City Chiefs, per Mary Kay Cabot of the Plain Dealer:
The 25-year-old Bryant is a 2013 seventh-round pick who is enjoying a career year with 40 tackles and 5.5 sacks in 14 games, including two starts.
Bryant was arrested for DUI shortly after getting drafted, and he had a previous marijuana arrest on his record from his time in college.
Saunders, 23, is an undrafted rookie out of Tennessee State who has appeared in just one game for the Browns this season.
He started his collegiate career at Florida, but he was kicked off the team in 2012 for multiple issues, including marijuana possession.
Further details regarding the arrests have yet to be released.
While the 3-11 Browns don't have much to play for in the final two weeks of the season, Bryant's absence in Week 16 could impact their chances against the Chiefs as Cleveland's Paul Kruger, the underwhelming Barkevious Mingo and rookie Nate Orchard will be tasked with putting pressure on Kansas City quarterback Alex Smith.
