But would not that the point of securing the commitment of the AD to fund the staff, to also have a supposedly great OC? He is not going to pull a Mullen and try to be HC and OC, right?
If you watch the video in the op, that’s his offense.Does he even have an offense? I doubt he brings in an OC and says he has to run the same offense as UL.

Guy that compiled the video says it’s a run first offense similar to what Sarkisian runs.
There are RPO components , yet not very many QB dive plays.
Qb will not be leading the team in Rushing.
To me, it looks like run and run as long as you’re moving the chains.
Run until the defense starts creeping up in the box then throw.
Also looks like he likes a “featured back”.
Best back will play the most.
In my opinion
This offense looks like a 400 to 450 ypg total offense average.
More against lesser teams, less against better teams.
This offense requires a stellar Defense.Bio referenced BNs 2009 season with Clemson where Napier was OC and QB coach. Researching 2009 numbers say a lot about his style. 192 YPG Passing and 172 YPG Rushing for total 362 YPG. Relatively balanced offense with CJ Spiller as the featured back you reference. Spiller had a monster year with 1200 yards rushing and 500 yards receiving. Top receiver was Jacoby Ford with total 900 all purpose yards . At his PC BN talked about building a team from the line of scrimmage, offensive and defensive line. Proven formula that we see in Bama UGA and other .successful programs.
Agree that his O is run first and then throw when available, with plenty of play action. In 2009 it looks like almost 40% of QBs passes went to Spiller and the TE. Could be the blueprint of what Napier Ball could look like at UF. Featured back with quality OL can excel here. Five star Matt Corral type stud QB that takes the top off the Defense, not so much.
How do you feel about that system philosophy? I would like to think he evolves. If you watch the video in the op, that’s his offense.

Not sure what to think about that.He already announced he was going to be OC and quarterback's coach...
For a guy who is going to be jumping up multiple competition levels... I don't like it. This isn't like Urbs jumping from Utah, SunBelt might be the lowest of the G5 conferences. And of the teams in that conference they would be in the top three recruiting schools due to location alone in that conference. This is a big jump for a guy that is going to have to divide his attention. Not sure what to think about that.
Seems obvious he needs a real OC.For a guy who is going to be jumping up multiple competition levels... I don't like it. Cautiously optimistic? How do you feel about that system philosophy? I would like to think he evolves.
