Harbaugh was going to Michigan. There was nothing we could do to stop that. He wanted to coach where he played. End of story.
I'll go a bit farther. He WASN'T going to Michigan until Michigan made it impossible for him not to go. He would never have considered anyone else, for a second.

Today is the start of a recruiting dead period.

The dead period lasts from June 27 to July 10. This is a time of year when coaches get a few days to take a vacation.

Why should Trump apologize to Pokahotass?

Trump called blue-eyes blond hair Senator Elizabeth Warren, Pocahontas because the loony socialist senator falsely claimed Native American heritage to further her stalled academic career. When asked by a liberal media type whether he should apologize to her, Trump replied he probably should...to Pocahontas.

And why is that because he won 10 games? Duke could have won 10 with the schedule we had last year. We finished the season with the 103rd ranked sos and got toasted our last 3 games which happened to be against real teams. Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't teams supposed to get better as the year goes on our got worse and that's on coaching
Depends on whether the team in question loses the lone QB on the team who knew what a forward pass was in the middle of the season while at the same time losing the only kicker who knew there were goalposts in the end zone that the ball is supposed to go through.
Passion is good, I guess.

Yeah I'm sure that would have won us the games we lost. Our defense won us 10 games last year not Mac or his offense. Besides from what Mac said he could win games with his dog at Qb, so lossing our Qb should not have mattered. And anyone on this board that is impressed with his recruiting and is not worried about the future of this program because of his terrible recruiting is a pumper.

A lot on this site are rock hard for this dude because of 10 wins during one of the easiest schedules we've ever had , the same people got hard for Muschamp after his 2nd year. I was never on that train either. I'm just not at all impressed by what he's done as of right now on the field or the recruiting trail. I can admit he's done good things for the program in term of upgrades to the facilities but not for the team. And no I don't expect a championship or bust each year but I do expect progress through the year not regress like we did. That's on coaching

Or maybe Mac just overestimated chump's ability to recruit offensive talent.

Sorry to have disturbed you in your Dumper Paradise. We will try not to distress you further by actually seeing anything positive from our coach or team so you can go back to kicking the dog and telling pre-schoolers the truth about Santa.

I'm not sure what games you were watching, but I think our offense (Grier's running) did well against UK. The offense made big plays against Tennessee after the D gave up big plays (although the D did have a key fumble recovery). The offense also definitely performed well against Ole Miss. I don't think it is fair to say the D won all 10 games... yeah, Mizzou, USC, Georgia absolutely, but UK, UT and Ole Miss the offensive absolutely contributed.

I really encourage you to go back and watch some of the things that happened on the field. We had players running wide open and Peon couldn't see nor did he have the arm to make the throws.

It can easily be said that our defense almost cost us some games as well; Tennessee comes to mind.

Mac's offense works; players were wide open. Hard to say it doesn't when you are working with a corner at quarterback and a line that couldn't open a single running lane.

If the offense looks as bad this year then I'll gladly agree with you but hold your judgement till we have a better sample size. I'm not sold on Mac either and his inability to recruit at a higher level bothers me but I'm going to wait till at least year three to make my full opinion.
