Driving my RV up I-75 yesterday I ended up getting passed by numerous Auburn fans leaving the state in a hurry with, presumably, their tails tucked between their legs. Got me thinking about their situation and how much less happy I’d be if we had Malzhans program instead of Mullens.
Also, I started thinking if there was any single program I’d be happy just slapping the Gator logo on instead of what we have going. I’m not taking about just winning, but also the vibe or overall culture of the program and it’s fan base.
I think the easy answer is Clemson. No way would I trade for Kirby Dumbs program for obvious reasons, for example. For that matter, no one in the SEC cuts it for me. Other elite programs like Ohio State and Bama just don’t fit the Florida vibe.
Another interesting option is to create a hypothetical Frankenprogram, taking the best components of several programs and combining them into a ‘master team.’ Who you got?
