Rich Rodriguez Has Landed A Major Coaching Job

College football insider Bruce Feldman is reporting that the former Arizona head coach is heading to the SEC.

Ole Miss head coach Matt Luke has reportedly hired Rodriguez as offensive coordinator.

Interesting hire.

This surprises me not at all, given Ole Piss and their identity of doing anything, hiring anyone, willing to break rules and keep some spotlight on their offense. I also, don't expect this to make them any better.

Dick Rod runs the most vertical routes of any of the spread formation guys. Pretty much anyone off that Terry Bowden tree (Dick Rod, Baby Bowden, Dabo, even Holgerson bc he inherited a a Dick Rod playbook.and adapted).

I agree that what they need is defense. And recruiting.
