College football realignment: SEC reacts to Florida State situation

"SEC commissioner Greg Sankey caught wind of that talk and got out in front to say he's happy with where the conference is right now.

He added: "Further expansion has not been a central topic in the SEC other than regularly updating our campus leadership on national developments. We are proud of the stability the SEC provides our membership and incredibly excited about our future.""

The noles traveling to Wisc. Mich, ND, etc to play in below freezing temperatures sounds like a trip the golden chiefs would thoroughly relish.

Why are we behind the big 10? Was this before adding Texas and Oklahoma? I assume we will renegotiate

The second picture is confusing but in 2026 the Big 10 and the SEC earning cross paths and the SEC starts earning more. Here is a another picture that makes it plainer.

B1G votes to add Washington and Oregon. Rumor is that they are considering Cal and Stanford if they decide to go to 20. Seems all the rumors about reF$U going to the B1G are all coming from reF$U.

Got to give the Big 12 leadership credit. A few years ago they were the ones dead in the water.
Yep. They won’t get the massive media deal that the SEC and Big 10 will get, but it’ll be enough to keep them somewhat competitive IMO. The PAC is dead and the ACC is on life support.

At this point the ACC should just try to scoop up the rest of the Pac4 and call it the All Coast Conference that someone eluded to before.

Colorado already announced going back to the Big 12. Rumor is ASU, Utah and at least one other PAC school has contacted the Big 12.

The PAC was rumored to be going hard after BYU and considering SDSU to replace USCw and UCLA. With the latest, it looks like the PAC is falling apart quickly.

At this point, the only remaining teams for the 24-25 season are Cal, Oregon State, Stanford and Washington State.

All others are officially going elsewhere.

The other school will most certainly be U of A and Washington and Oregon look like they’ll follow USCw and UCLA to the B1G.

While I personally hate all this realignment, at least we’re not having to hear a bunch of university presidents lie to us saying, “it’s not about the money.”

ASU, Arizona and Utah were officially granted Big 12 membership yesterday and BYU is already a member. Only 4 schools remain in the PAC for 24. Stanford may go independent. Who know what snobby Cal will do. WSU and OSU will probably end up in Mountain West or WAC. It’s criminal how bad the PAC leadership was/is.
