Yes, I wouldn't mind bringing them back, and even passing the torch to someone else who will agree to do them.
This is your interview. Tell me about your experience.
I pride myself mainly on photo/video production however, I used to help admin a sports page on Facebook with a few thousands members. We typically used a company called blogtalkradio which is New York based and allowed us to provide live podcasts, with call-in features. This allowed us to have a soundboard, etc, and people could listen via phone if they didn't have computer access at work. One of the most fun things we did was debates on various sports/topics vs members for cash and/or bragging rights.
The one i played the biggest role in was the CFB kickoff podcast which was a preseason style show where we would have someone assigned to each major conference and provide a breakdown round-table style. (obviously i headed the SEC.) Outside of breaking down each conference, we'd cover the other typical stuff - playoff, Heisman projections, best opening week match-ups, hot seat predictions.
I've also messed around with a few live video platforms to allow people to put a face to the name. They seemed to gain some good traction in regards to viewership, but there were some technical issues i want attribute to people's poor wi-fi lol.
I just tracked down of the old recordings here:
