A couple of interesting ones, actually.

#17 West Virginia vs. Tennessee, 3:30 p.m. (ABC). Comment: When the Vols aren't losing to the Gators, they're losing to ex-Gator quarterbacks.

#6 Washington vs. #9 Auburn, 3:30 p.m. (CBS). Comment: Chris Pederson finally makes his way into SEC country. He'll probably not want to come back.

#14 Michigan vs. #12 Notre Dame, 7:30 p.m. (NBC). Comment: Midwest prissies.

I hope the Fighting Griers light up UToothless. They're still having nightmares about the last time Grier beat them.

Those should be some watchable games but I'll watch anything at this point.

Yeah some interesting match ups this week. FAU @ Okla could be high scoring. Miami vs LSU should be good. Cincy @ UCLA - Chip Kelly era begins. Louisville vs Bama - experts predict low scoring tight game.

Mushcramp-led Cocks start off the season with a personal foul unsportsmanlike penalty. Imagine that.

NC State just took a 10-7 lead over two-time FCS championship game participant James Madison. Dukes are hanging tough, but Finley is 13-17 for 152 with over 9 minutes left in the first half.

I think Tennessee will give West Virginia fits.

I think Washington will beat Auburn. Soundly.

Disagree on that Auburn game though I think Washington could win a close game.

Tenn is the crapshoot. Not sure if they have a decent pass rush and DBs to keep WV from torching them. They had kind of gave up near the end of last season.

Both Ole Miss and Texas Tech WRs are putting on a show. Ole Miss should win comfortably, but it's still an entertaining game.

No kidding. Some great catches on both sides. The Ole Miss receivers are the real deal.

Oh man. They just threw Texas Tech's other starting CB out of the game too, for targeting. Both their starters now gone. No warning, just one time and you're ejected.

These are plays that in the past wouldn't have even been a penalty, and now they're an instant ejection.

I'm feeling nauseous right now. I fear for the future of America.

Where have you been? This has been going on for 2 seasons now.

Law loves to talk sh*t about Matt Luke, but that guy has done a heck of a job - and is a fantastic offensive coach. If he ever gets fired and when Derek Mason gets fired, those two would be great OC & DC somewhere under a competent head coach (and the jury is still out on Luke as they are still under probation, and he's killing it recruiting - by Ole Miss standards).

Sidehat lost to Villanova - didn't know they had football there.

I went to a James Madison home game last year, ESPN Game Day was there. They hosted Villanova. Nova was ranked 8th and JMU was #1, JMU won 30-8. Villanova started a true freshman QB (after the starter got injured the week before). That's the 2nd time Sidehat has lost to a 1-AA team on a D1 sideline......

High school participation was down another 46,000 kids this year. Expect it to continue.
