Tougher Challange?

Just a thought Fellow Gators,
Who has a tougher challange in the first 2 years, Charlie Pell back in 79, or Macks first 2 years today? I say Mac.

Charlie had to do more than coach a team. He had to actually get donors on board with bringing UF up to SEC standards and then after coaching football in the SEC the good old boys way (done forever by the likes of UGA UT Bama Aub etc) found out there was a double standared and UF would not be allowed to follow suit. Back then UF was the team of almost and beloved. But now we are a destination school within a recruiting hot bed in the sec and hated by many. The perfect storm for the right coach.

Mac has a lot more expectations than in the Pell days. We had no expectations in 79' other than having a nice day at the stadium. You win some, you lose some. Now, it's win or catch hell. So be it. A different time
